    Once primarily known as a beachy getaway, Miami has evolved over the past decades into a global city with a thriving cultural scene. The population of the southern Florida city represents a diverse mix of backgrounds with a thriving real estate market thanks to feeder markets that span across the northern U.S. states to South America and Europe.

    “Miami is a relatively new town compared to places like London and Paris,” says Ron Shuffield, CEO, owner and president of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices EWM Realty. “But in the last 20 years, the city has evolved. Now we have some of the finest contemporary art museums and cultural centers in the world. And I’m happy to say the rest of the world has taken notice.”
